Biography:

As a leader in Electrolyser R&D at the HySA Catalysis Centre of Competence, I play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge technologies for platinum group metal catalyst-based systems in low-temperature polymer electrolyte membrane water electrolysis. This work is instrumental in addressing the increasing demand for green hydrogen solutions.

My expertise revolves around understanding oxygen evolution processes, optimising electrocatalyst preparation, and pioneering advanced materials. Additionally, I lead innovation in catalyst-coated membrane fabrication, porous transport layer development, and electrochemical testing and diagnostics, positioning the Centre to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving landscape of low-temperature fuel cells and electrolysis applications, supporting the transition to a sustainable energy future.
