S⊕CUBE’s modus operandi is to collaborate and partner with local and international built environment stakeholders, including experts, academics, professionals, and policymakers across the discipline to achieve our multidisciplinary research agendas.

We strive to ensure that each project conducted in S⊕CUBE is able to provide answers to the following fundamental questions:

  2. What are the social, environmental, and economic impacts of innovative methods and cyber technologies on various components of the African built environment projects and society?
  3. What are the most appropriate innovative methods and cyber technologies for the specific built environment project considering the characteristics and context of the project and society?
  4. How could adopting sustainability-oriented cyber technologies in the African built environment optimise the value capture within the sector for stakeholders and society?
  5. What are the challenges and issues of the digitalisation of the African built environment sector, and how should these challenges be addressed?
  6. What is the nexus between sustainability/sustainable development and 4IR and technological innovation in African built environment projects and sectors?
