The Department of Civil Engineering's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are offered by internationally acclaimed academics who are leaders in their fields.

The department’s research groups work closely with industry to stay at the forefront of electrical engineering trends worldwide. Degrees are offered in electrical; electrical and computer; and mechatronics.

This dynamic department has grown to include not only mechanical and mechanical & mechatronic engineering degree programmes but also world-class research groups that support a growing number of postgraduate students. 

The School of  Architecture, Planning & Geomatics offer nationally and internationally accredited degree programmes which give graduates access to career opportunities in many built environment professions.

The department aims to produce graduates with theoretical, entrepreneurial and business skills that will ensure their leadership positions within the construction, property and built environment industries.
