Asami Miketa

Asami has Ph.D. with a strong analytical background in energy systems analysis and a history of progressive management within intergovernmental contexts, specializing in energy planning support for governments. Demonstrated success in cultivating and expanding partnerships with governmental and intergovernmental entities, proficient in project management, and leading a clean energy transition with a focus on renewable energy integration and sustainable energy planning. Currently, I provide strategic leadership to four teams of 20 professional staff and consultants at IRENA, while actively contributing to energy transition discussions and forums.
