About the MScEng and PhD(Materials Science) programmes

We offer full research-based postgraduate programmes leading to MSc(Eng) and PhD degrees in Materials Engineering.

These programmes provide opportunities to engage in advanced research across various materials engineering disciplines, supported by our extensive laboratory facilities and strong academic expertise.

Many of our research projects are industry-aligned, fostering collaborations with local companies, addressing real-world challenges in materials selection, manufacturing, and processing.  By immersing yourself in these rigorous research environments, you will develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for addressing complex engineering challenges, thereby preparing you for leadership roles in both academia and industry.
