Role in ESRG involves mainly SATIMGE model development and maintenance. This also includes graphic visualisation editing for Sankey diagrams. Research focus is mainly on industry in particular bioenergy utilisation, energy efficiency, technological innovation & sustainable energy use, primarily in the pulp & paper industry
Proficient in industrial systems engineering, multi-decision criteria analysis, techno-economic modelling analysis and, numerous other methods
Started out as a research intern for the ESEP research group at the ERC which was part of the UCT Mech Eng department between 2017 and 2019.
Tools and platforms include TIMES-VEDA, Tableau, eSankey, QGIS, MAED, MESSAGE, LEAP, etc.
