Abiola Gboyega Kehinde

PhD candidate

Abiola Gboyega Kehinde is a PhD researcher and TRAJECTS Scholar at the Energy Systems Research Group (ESRG) at the University of Cape Town.  His research interests span waste management, waste-to-energy, energy management, renewable energy, green economy, sustainability, circular economy, sustainable green building, and innovation systems. His passion for his research interest has led to the development of influential systems and policy instruments benefiting public and private institutions across multiple nations. Before joining the University of Cape Town, he had worked as a Building Services Engineer in various multinational companies, where he gained valuable experience in the energy and building sector. Throughout his career, he has won notable awards and has published several articles in reputable journals. He has presented his research at various national and international conferences, showcasing his expertise and contributing to the global discourse on sustainable energy and environmental solutions.
