Eskom Holdings SOC

Eskom is a South African electricity public utility, established in 1923. The utility has 44 GW installed generating capacity and provides approximately 95% of electricity used in South Africa.

- Access to plant design and operational data.
- Working directly with subject matter experts.
- Supported by the Eskom Research and Testing Department.
- Experienced engineers are given the opportunity to study with the Unit.
Annual EPPEI Student Workshop
Two Mechanical Engineering students from ATProM were recognised for their outstanding work at the Eskom Power Plant Engineering Institute (EPPEI) annual student workshop, hosted at the Eskom Academy of Learning in Midrand. Competing on a prestigious platform, they presented their innovative projects to a panel of Eskom specialists, academics, and peers, showcasing solutions aimed at tackling real-world challenges faced by Eskom. Five students specialising in Energy Efficiency had the opportunity to share their research at the conference, highlighting ATProM's strong presence and contribution to industry.
