Welcome to Professional Communication Studies

Professional Communication Studies – moving you forward personally and professionally by enhancing your communication skills and competencies.

Located in UCT’s Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, the Professional Communication Studies unit provides full courses and ad-hoc training sessions that aim to develop communication competency and professionalism.

Being able to communicate effectively not only enhances your career prospects but is also often taken as a measure of your professionalism. Whether you are delivering a presentation, making a proposal, writing a report or sending an email, you create an impression. Our goal at PCS is to equip students, professionals and organisational teams with the necessary professional and personal skills to create a positive and lasting impact.
