CoMSIRU students bid farewell to visiting intern from France
CoMSIRU students, together with the Civil Engineering department administration and laboratory staff gathered to bid a warm farewell to Gaspard Clamagirand (front wearing a green Springbok shirt)
CoMSIRU recently hosted Gaspard Clamagirand, a student from CESI Graduate School of Engineering (École d’Ingénieurs CESI) in France, who joined the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Cape Town for an internship as part of the requirements for his engineering degree. During his stay, Gaspard worked closely with staff in the Civil Engineering Laboratory under CoMSIRU, gaining practical experience and expanding his knowledge of concrete materials and testing. The internship offered a valuable opportunity for academic and cultural exchange, and CoMSIRU students, together with the Civil Engineering department administration and laboratory staff, gathered to bid him a warm farewell at the end of his stay.
