Lawrence Bbosa
Qualifications
BSc Electro-Mechanical Engineering UCT (2005), MSc Chem Eng UCT (2008), PhD Chem Eng UCT (2013)
Background
Lawrence Bbosa has a BSc in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town (2005), and an MSc in Chemical Engineering (UCT- 2008). He obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the same institute in 2013, which focused on computational modelling of tumbling mills. At the Centre for Minerals Research, he has worked on several projects and tasks including collaborative work with researchers from institutions worldwide. This work has been published and presented in international journals and conferences. He has gained industrial experience drawn from several surveys to minerals processing circuits in Johannesburg. In 2013, he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering and currently teaches in the undergraduate and postgraduate programme.
