Research Interests and core activitiesPaul Bepswa is a Research Officer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. He has a BSc Metallurgical Engineering (Zimbabwe, 1992) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering (UCT, 2016). He has worked in coal (Wankie Colliery Company, Anglo American Coal and Industrial Operations) and cement (Holcim) industries in process, maintenance and production management roles. He joined UCT in 2004 as a Technical Officer in the Department of Chemical Engineering under the auspices of the Mineral Education Trust Fund responsible for minerals beneficiation practice at the undergraduate level within the Chemical Engineering Department. In 2008 he was appointed as Research Officer in the Centre for Mineral Research with industrial consulting, training and research responsibilities in the fields of comminution, classification and metal accounting.
