Research Interests

My research portfolio currently includes work with both the Comminution and Flotation research groups. I have been the co-ordinator for the Australian Minerals Industry Research Association (AMIRA) P9 flotation site work campaigns in Southern Africa and Brazil since 2004.

Since 2007 I have managed MPTech, the technology transfer division of the Centre for Minerals Research. In this capacity I am involved in delivering continued professional development courses for graduate metallurgists in industry. I also consult to mining houses and process engineering firms on comminution plant design and optimisation, as well as flotation circuit optimisation. I have extensive experience of surveying comminution and flotation circuits to gather the information necessary to build process models for simulation.
