Background
Refilwe graduated from Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering in 2014. She spent a year of internship at the Centre for Minerals Research under the supervision of Jenny Wiese and Belinda McFadzean. While she was doing her internship she also worked in the Reagent Research group where she was involved with characterising flotation reagents. She is currently employed as a Research assistant and she is based in the milling and flotation laboratory. She was recently involved in assisting with a plant survey at Anglo Platinum Concentrator in Mokgalakwena. Her responsibilities include assisting with research projects, conducting experimental work as required and demonstrating standard operating procedures to new users.
