On the 30th of March 2011 UCT's Centre for Bioprocess Engineering Research held their second annual research day. It was held once again in the picturesque surroundings of the V&A Waterfront at the Atlantic Imbizo Conference studio where the Centre welcomed both postgraduate students and their supervisors to a day of academic and social discussion. Tim Noakes gave an inspiring motivational talk as the guest speaker which left all encouraged and introduced a day of informative presentations given by 17 of CeBER's affiliated post-graduate students on their novel areas of research. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all despite uncooperative weather and all look forward to what the Centre's research will uncover in the future. Many thanks to the organisers and we look forward to another successful CeBER Research Day in 2012.
