Dr Brandon Weber joins as CeBER's new director

We are thrilled to welcome Dr Brandon Weber as the new director of our group! Brandon’s background is in protein production and purification utilizing various downstream processes. He is no stranger to UCT, having completed his studies here and having worked in the Structural Biology Research Group (under the guidance of Professor Trevor Sewell), within the Electron Microscope Unit, the Department of Clinical Pathology, the Department of Pharmacology as well as the department of Molecular and Cell Biology. His experience in protein research, biotechnology and most recently vaccine production, will be a great complement to CeBER’s research portfolio.
