On the 10th September 2013, Prof Sue Harrison joined Café Scientifique as guest speaker with a talk entitled “Magnificent Microalgae: the potential for fuel, fine chemicals and fixing global warming.” Guests enjoyed a glass of wine at UCT’s Irma Stern Museum while Prof Harrison discussed the incredible potential of algal processes specifically within a South African context.
