Overview/ Research interests

Synthesis and characterisation of nanoparticles and their application in catalysis.

Supported and unsupported metallic, oxidic and sulphidic catalysts. Zeolites and porous materials.

Fischer-Tropsch catalysis, reduction-oxidation catalysis, hydrocarbon processing, wax upgrading, hydrodesulphurisation, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis.

High resolution transmission electron microscopy and in situ transmission electron microscopy.
