Research interests:

My research interests focus on the production of recombinant proteins in plants and mammalian cells, in particular proteins that are of importance for the development of vaccine candidates in the human and animal sector. More specifically, I have a keen interest in human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine research and have worked on the development of a platform for the expression of prophylactic and therapeutic HPV vaccine candidates in plants.
