The Brewing UCT team managed an unprecedented achievement at this year’s intervarsity competition, by winning 3 categories and retaining the overall crown of intervarsity champions!

They took the Winter Warmer category with our American stout; the cider category with an apple cider; and the Lager category with their Dunkel, which eventually went on to win the best beer of the tournament and overall prize.

This is the best the team has ever done, and possibly the best any team has done at the competition.

The team is looking forward to sharing the achievement and the beers with the department!
