Biography:

Lisa completed her undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at UCT in 2016 and in 2017 enrolled for an MSc at the Centre for Minerals Research in the area of water quality within Froth Flotation. In 2018 she upgraded to a PhD and graduated with this degree in 2021. Between 2019 and 2021 she worked as a Business Intelligence (BI)/Data analyst at a financial services provider and in 2021 she took up a lecturer position within the Department of Chemical Engineering at UCT. She currently works in the same department as a senior lecturer, where she mainly teaches in the second year core course and minerals and metallurgical processing electives space. She also supervisors a number of postgraduate students in the area of flotation chemistry.
