Biography:
Kirsten Corin is currently an Associate Professor and Head of Flotation Chemistry with the Centre for Minerals Research (CMR) in the Department of Chemical Engineering. She manages the Reagent Research Group (RRG) an industrially sponsored fundamental focus group which conducts research in collaboration with the foremost South African platinum group mineral (PGM) producers. Her research is focused on the chemistry of flotation, with three important areas of interest: water quality within flotation, chemistry of grinding and electrochemistry of minerals.
