Daniel Pons

Daniel matriculated from Kearsney College in 2014, after obtaining academic honours and receiving a Gold Award in the President’s Award Programme. He went on to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cape Town, where he was named on the Dean’s Merit List and graduated with honours in 2018.

Daniel is currently pursuing his MSc under the supervision of Dr Reuben Govender. He is still scoping topics for his dissertation, however his research will focus on understanding the mechanical properties of skin in response to strain rate.
