CeBER Attend Biohydrometallurgy & Sustainable Minerals 2018

On the 12th of June 2018 CeBER touched down in Namibia to attend Biohydrometallurgy 2018 as well as Sustainable Minerals 2018, both conferences run and organised by Minerals Engineering International. These gave CeBER members Dr Mariette Smart, Dr Elaine Govender Opitz, Didi Maukala, Madhi Ghadiri and Catherine Edward an opportunity to present work alongside international colleagues, with CeBER Director Professor Sue Harrison delivering the opening keynote address for Biohydrometallurgy. CeBER presentations showcased the high standard of research being conducted at UCT and were well received.
