Biography:
Knowledge in integrated management systems according to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Expertise in environmental geochemistry, mineral processing, water and wastewater treatment and sustainable waste disposal according to circular economy principles. Has extensive experience in the mining sector by developing and fostering creative and innovative nature based solutions from pre-design to rehabilitation and post-closure phases with focus on natural resources conservation. Deeply involved in transdisciplinary projects related to implementation of Community of Practice and Regenerative Agriculture values enabling SDGs in South Africa. Capability to formulate environmental policies, procedures, good practices, and impact assessments, through operationalization followed by monitoring, reviewing and improvement. Can relate to people on all levels and environments.
