New Property Studies Curriculum for 2020
The Department of Construction Economics and Management are proud to confirm that a new Property Studies curriculum has been developed and will launch in 2020. The new curriculum has received UCT institutional approval and will spearhead a new wave of property education - focusing not only the private property sector but expanding to include public, informal and custom area property. It includes vigorous assessment and knowledge of South Africa's distinctive property landscape and dual economy. The new course content will also include increased attention to technological skills, artificial intelligence and big data within property valuation, to ensure that students are well-equipped to use the latest technology and software once they graduate.
