CEM Community Build 2019
Every year the Department of Construction Economics and Management uses one of twelve compulsory 'work experience' weeks to organise a community outreach project. This important part of the Department's social investment is built into the first year curriculum as a response to the needs of local communities for housing and safe spaces. This year, the community build happened in Delft.
In committing to a social responsive curriculum, the Department exposes students to the realities faced by construction professionals along with better understanding of the benefits and challenges of the construction industry.
