The UCT Electron Microscope Unit continues to serve the Science, Engineering and Health Sciences research community at the University, as well as providing support and access to local universities and research institutions.
Our principal mission is to provide a central microscopy service which supports multi-disciplinary research in the physical and biological sciences by providing comprehensive user support and access to analytical electron microscopy and related imaging and data analysis facilities.
