You may apply online but in order to do so you will need a working email address and your South African identity number, or, if you are an international applicant, your passport number.

Applications close on 31 July (year previous to study) for South African Residents and Citizens, and for International applicants.

Check your application status online or follow the directions on your letter from the admissions office in order to log onto the web and determine your application status. Should you not have received your log-in and password, you may also use your names and birth date.

UCT Open Day

UCT has an annual open day aimed at high school students in grades 10, 11 and 12, their families, teachers and guidance counsellors.  

You will have the opportunity to talk to academics and students to find out more about the undergraduate programmes offered in the Department.
