Online Registration for new students who have been made an offer to study in 2024
There are different ways that students will register. Please look at the Self-Service Registration list where you will find what process you need to follow
There are 2 types of self-service registration processes:
1. Programme Enrolment:
Students register using approved curriculum and rules configured in system. Any deviation requires approval from faculty (student breaking rules, class clashes, added/deleted courses etc.) See the EBE PG Registration PE Student Guide
2. Blank Shopping Cart:
Programmes that are not on Programme Enrolment yet or have no pre-configured Shopping Cart will register with a Blank Shopping Cart. Students select their courses in the system and submit their selection for approval. See the EBE PG Registration steps BSc Student Guide

Architecture, Planning & Geomatics
Dear Postgraduate APG student
- Please note that registration can be completed remotely any time from 03 January 2024.
- The deadline for registration to be completed online for Full Research and PhD programmes, both new and returning students, is 28 February 2024.
- The deadline for registration to be completed for all other programmes is before the start of the programme.
- If you will be attending any courses that start before 12 February 2024, then you are required to have completed your registration by latest the first day of the course.
- If you are an international student, please ensure that you have IAPO clearance before submitting forms to your Department as the registration cannot be processed without you being cleared. See IAPO for more information.
Note 1:
If you are registering for a research masters course (60; 120; 180 credit dissertation) or PhD (360 credit) thesis please ensure you have applied for ethics clearance – more information available here.
If you have your ethics approval, please submit your approval with your MOU. If you are a returning student who has previously submitted this, then you are not required to submit again.

Chemical Engineering
