Dissertations/theses (Please use these dates as a guide only)

Master's & PhD candidates

December 2023 graduation:

Submission of dissertations/thesis by 15 August (to have been preceded by the intention to submit) is recommended 5 months before the deadline for qualification entry to allow for delays in examination. It is possible that submissions after this are examined in time for the 30 April deadline. The university does not however undertake to reach a decision on the award of the degree by any specific date.

  •  December graduation submission deadlines:
    • Submission of dissertation: 01 June 2023
    • Intention to submit: 01 May 2023

NB: Students who submit their corrections by 15 October 2023, as well as meeting the requirements for their qualification, may attend the graduation ceremony in December 2023, subject to final qualification status by the Faculty Office.
