The Civil Engineering Department offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes linked to research fields in which the department is currently active:
- Civil infrastructure management and maintenance (CIMM) View programme

- Structural engineering and materials (SEM) View programme

- Water quality engineering View programme
The Department also offers a Master's of Science specialising in Civil Engineering (MScEng). View programme
Postgraduate degree courses vary in duration from one year to three years. Some courses are offered during university semesters while others are offered during a block week in the vacation. Masters’ degree programmes may comprise different ratios of research and course work, allowing students to suit their particular strengths and career choices.
