Course Introduction
This page gives some of the background to the Radar Masters programme, and explains how it works. The programme is designed to support students who cannot be resident in Cape Town for the full duration to complete all the courses, by using distance learning techniques during the follow-up periods.
Degree Structure
Various forms of postgraduate degree are possible. The Masters degree in Radar is offered with three different degree structures, viz. professional taught masters degree, research masters degree with coursework and research masters degree by dissertation. Students can also continue to study for a PhD, or to upgrade their Masters. We offer the option of registering as an occasional postgraduate student for individual courses for non-degree purposes, or alternatively, you can attend the courses as a continuing professional development (CPD) student.
