The two core courses (Introduction to Radar, and Mathematics for Radar and Electronic Defence) are presented every year, but some of the other courses are only offered every alternate year.

It is advisable to apply in September, to attend the courses of the following year.

Occasional Postgraduate Registration

You can register as an occasional postgraduate student for individual courses, for non-degree purposes.

For busy people who work in industry, but who would like to register for a Masters Degree, the option exists to pass some or all of the 6 courses over 2 or 3 years, whilst continuing to work in industry. The credits passed as an occasional student can be transferred into the degree, which is completed when you have completed the minor dissertation (60 credits). The option also exists to take 60 credits (3 courses typically) and complete a larger dissertation of 120 credits to obtain a MSc(Eng) degree.
